James Labrosse grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he was introduced to diverse cultures, music and languages. After moving to Andalucia, Spain, he studied Flamenco music for three years. He then attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he earned a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production. His musical influences range from Paco de Lucia to Jobim to Led Zeppelin to Ekran Oğur, and he has performed with the renowned Antonio Serrano, La Shica and Mirella Cesa. A resident of New York City, James devotes his time to producing music for media, performing, and teaching guitar, bass, drums and piano. He encourages his students to explore their creativity and to have fun!
