Sean Lesczynski - Composer, Performer, Educator
Sean is a New York City based and Washington DC raised jazz guitarist, upright and electric bass player, pianist, and composer. His composition draws heavily from the harmonic tradition of early 20th century classical music and the rhythmic elasticity of modern jazz in the New York scene, with the emphasis always being on the interplay between personalities on the bandstand. As a teaching artist, Sean works with students of all ages to grow their love for music and proficiency in their instrument, so that practice comes from a place of enthusiasm, experimentation, and play. Sean holds a Bachelors in Jazz Performance from the New School.
