Bill Bell

Bill Bell is a Brooklyn-bred, NYC-based guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and teacher with decades of experience. Music lessons began with the piano at age 10, then later extensive training on guitar, including a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Music from Long Island University. During that time in college, curiosity and interest in diversifying led to learning the mandolin, bass guitar, banjo, lap steel, bodhran (Irish frame drum), as well as singing and songwriting.

Bill’s years of experience in music include live performance, studio recording, original music composition, and arranging in diverse genres including jazz, rock, blues, folk, Celtic/Irish folk, Latin, Jewish folk, musical theater, and children’s music. He has performed in many music venues in New York City, as well as many parts of the United States, Canada, and Europe.
