Natallia Kozel holds Masters Degree in Music Performance from Aaron Copland School of Music.

 

Natallia was born and raised in Belarus, Europe and at a very early age was enrolled in a music school. After only two years of studying she participated in Belarusian State Music Competition in the youngest age category and won Second Prize.

After entering Brest College of Music, Natallia played in the Symphony Orchestra, holding principal second violin position, she also played in chamber ensemble, quartet and solo. In College she also studied Music Theory, Solfeggio, Pedagogy and Methods of Teaching, including Suzuki method.

Music school in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

After graduating from college Natallia entered Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk, where she had a chance to communicate with the best musicians and teachers in Belarus. Natallia’s principal teacher was concertmaster of The National Opera and Ballet Theater Orchestra of Belarus. As a member of the Student Chamber Orchestra she toured and performed in Poland and Belgium. Natallia also worked as a private  piano and violin teacher in music school.

 

Upon moving to United States Natallia graduated from Aaron Copland School of Music with Master Degree. She studied with Daniel Phillips, Linda Sinanian and Masao Kawasaki. Natallia performed in Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center with Empire State Sinfonia and in Carnegie hall with Reona Ito Chamber Orchestra.

 

 

Ms. Natallia Kozel also graduated from Brest College of Music and Belarusian State Academy of Music. She has Masters Degree in Music Performance from Aaron Copland School of Music.

 

Ms. Natallia worked in Belarusian music school for 2 years  and she has 5 years of teaching experience in US, where she worked as a music instructor in "Music for Kids" in Manhattan, "Garden Street Music" in Hoboken and "Musipire" in Queens. Her students successfully passed NYSSMA, The Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program and ABRSM music exams. She has experience teaching students from 3 to adult.

 

Natallia was lucky to have the opportunity to study from the very good teachers and she hopes that she took something from their example: to love children, to teach perseverance while working on music and technique and ultimately developing their talents at the same time. Natallia is convinced that music adds to the lives of children and adults and makes them better. She loves music and she wants each of her students to have the same appreciation and to keep it for life.
