As a burgeoning music education advocate, Amy started her own education program “Connecting With Music” within the Auckland Philharmonic education department in 2008. This program allowed low-income students the opportunity to experience orchestral music in concert halls. Since then, Amy has interned with numerous orchestras and arts organizations, including the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and BIODANCE. As a recipient of the Arts Leadership Certificate at the Eastman School of Music, Amy developed skills for entrepreneurial thinking and public advocacy for music, seeking to professional personify her desire to share music with a wide audience. Amy received further training at the League of American Orchestra’s National Conference and Orchestra Leadership Academy.

Beside being a pianist, Amy is also an accomplished clarinetist where she has performed with the Eastman Wind Ensemble, Eastman Philharmonic Orchestra and Eastman Opera Theater. Her former teachers have included Nathan Williams, James Fry and Philip Green.
