Eugene Bell
DRUM TEACHER, PIANO TEACHER
Eugene grew up in a deeply musical family—both of his parents graduated from prestigious conservatories in Russia and Ukraine—so music has been a part of his life from the very beginning. He began piano lessons at age five under the guidance of his parents, later expanding his musical journey to include saxophone and drums during his school years.
After joining a rock band as a drummer, Eugene developed a deep passion for percussion, teaching himself to play at a professional level. By the age of 23, he began teaching at a music school and has since gained over eight years of experience working with students of all ages, from very young beginners to adults.
Eugene is passionate about helping children build a strong musical foundation while keeping lessons engaging and fun. He emphasizes fundamentals, ear training, and music theory so students can grow into confident, independent musicians. His approach is flexible and student-centered—he tailors each lesson to the learner’s goals, interests, and learning style, ensuring steady progress and enjoyment.
He regularly prepares his students for recitals, exams, and performance opportunities, helping them develop both technical skills and stage confidence. His teaching philosophy is best summed up by his favorite quote:
“Give a man a fish, and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he’ll eat for life.”
Eugene’s goal is not only to teach students how to play, but to equip them with the tools to explore, create, and enjoy music for a lifetime.
